happening. Our program currently includes:
- Youth Choir - Our youth choir meets every
Wednesday during the school year at 6:30 pm. Students learn
to sing and play contemporary praise and worship
songs. The youth choir sings in worship services at different
times throughout the year.
- Youth Group - Every Wednesday
following youth choir, middle school and high school youth meet in
the youth room from 7:15 - 8:30 pm. Students build community
through games and sharing and nurture faith through discussion
and Bible study.
- Special Activities - About once a month,
fun events (beach trips, bowling, etc.) are planned as an
opportunity to build relationships and to invite friends.
- Mission and Service - The youth participate
each year in the national Souper Bowl of Sharing to raise money
and awareness for hunger. Youth also serve in a variety of
ways around the church as ushers, musicians, baby-sitters,
and more.
- Retreats - Every year, high school students
attend the Presbyterian youth conference at Montreat.
Students also participate in the middle school and high
school retreats sponsored by Tampa Bay
Presbytery.
